Hi my name is Brian Cummins. I'm a graphic designer/artist unlike many others. Even though graphic designer is a pretty broad term describing a professional who designs business cards, flyers, brochures and other printed material, it can also stand for someone who develops websites and other interactive media. Since my passion is photography, and I design websites as well as print materials, I think it is more appropriate to classify my professional title as "Visual Arts Specialist".
My objective concerning visual media projects is to effectively demonstrate innovative visual media techniques to accomplish design goals in an advertising and marketing environment. I have extensive layout and design experience and enjoy working on precise, detailed projects. In addition, I possess over 10 years of experience in graphic design, photography, and web design. I am highly organized and adept at meeting tight deadlines.
I currently work full time at Bradford Marine Yacht Sales as a visual arts specialist where I am able to use all my skills including photography, graphic design and website design. My responsibilities include designing advertisement layouts for major magazines and in house marketing campaigns, creating large format posters, develop and manage websites, and photograph interior layouts of mega yachts.
My ten plus years as a graphic artist has allowed me to work for an array of different companies as a professional and freelancer where I am able to expand my creative abilities. In the past I have worked for Martial Arts World for over five and a half years designing newsletters, magazine ads and layouts and photography martial artists in action for our marketing materials.
